Background:
Born into a slum family, of a drunken officer and his wife, Jason, his two sisters, and brother were often left to fend for themselves. His older sister Jessica married at seventeen, and was killed shortly after her eighteenth birthday, in a car accident along with the majority of their siblings. Jason had already shipped out to boot camp, and was only by sheer luck not present in the accident. His father within two years, already a drunkard, became more abusive towards his wife, and at one point, in a fit of drunken rage, beat her to death, before drinking himself to death two days later. Jason went on for half a year, without knowing of the death of his parents, before anyone broke the news to him, without having a had a phone call to them since the day he shipped off to basic. Jason survived the loss of his squad, the only family he had left, as he himsrelf would put it, he felt into a deep depression from which he never fully recovered, though he always put his unit first and foremost, doing his best to make sure they were well provided for, and in their best condition.

Personality Traits:
Reclusive, sarcastic, abrasive, as well as extremely insubordinate. Smart, and dedicated to his job and his troops, they are the only family he has left.

Other Information:
Scars over his back and chest, from his teenage years under his abusive father. He also had scars from a handful of plasma burns accross his side and back, acquired during a battle, on the HMS King William V, he was transferred off-ship to an experimental off-world medical facility for rehabiliation, shortly before the HMS King William V's destruction. He spent the next half year recovering from the plasma burns, which required extensive surgery, including several experimental medicines and treatments that he volunteered for.
